The chimney sweeping powder acts by destroying soot and tar. It is the vapours of the product that cause the reaction needed to destroy tar and soot. This is why the product must always be thrown onto a HOT FIRE.
- To clean the flueways of boilers and stoves, sprinkle the product while the draught is on so as to keep the vapours in contact with the deposits.
- In the event of heavy fouling, double the dose.
