The chimney sweeping powder works by destroying soot and tar. It is the vapours of the product that trigger the reaction needed to destroy tar and soot. This is why the product must always be thrown onto a BRISK FIRE.
- To clean the flueways of boilers and stoves, sprinkle the product while the draught is on so that the vapours stay in contact with the deposits.
- If fouling is heavy, double the dose.
- Effective cleaning time = 15 minutes.
