Sealing gasket for stove insert, boiler and oven doors. The pack contains a refractory rope in knitted glass fibre, dyed and asbestos-free, together with a tube of high-temperature adhesive. Premium quality product.
- Clean the surface to be bonded.
- Apply a thin layer of adhesive.
- Position the rope, pressing it down firmly.
- Leave to dry for 2 hours.
- The knitted sleeve (tube) shape makes it possible to form a male and female profile at the ends of the rope, so that the two ends can join together perfectly to give a good seal.
- Store away from moisture. The expiry date shown on the packaging is measured on an unopened product stored at 20°C under normal humidity conditions.
- To ensure a good seal, the rope must be compressed and its diameter must therefore be matched to the gap between the two parts to be sealed.
