This page explains what data this website collects, why, and how to exercise your rights. It applies to the fulgurant.eu website, published by Chembo Bevil SA.

Data collected

• Contact form: name, e-mail address, subject and content of the message, as well as the IP address from which it was sent.
• Warranty certificate: surname, first name, full postal address, e-mail, type of home, product used, date of use, type of installation and fuel, as well as the IP address from which it was sent.
• Newsletter: e-mail address, language chosen and the page of the website where the sign-up took place.

No customer account is created and no payment is processed on this website.

Purposes and legal basis

• Responding to your request (legal basis: your consent, given by sending the form).
• Managing your enrolment in the Fulgurant usage warranty (legal basis: performance of a pre-contractual measure at your request).
• Sending you the Fulgurant newsletter (legal basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by asking to be unsubscribed).

Recipients

The data is sent by e-mail to the customer service of Chembo Bevil SA. Warranty certificates and newsletter sign-ups are also kept on the website server, hosted by OVH. The data is not sold, rented or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.

Retention periods

• Contact requests: 12 months.
• Warranty certificates: for the whole duration of the warranty, plus 1 year.
• Newsletter sign-ups: until you unsubscribe.

Cookies and audience measurement

This website places no advertising cookies. No audience measurement cookie is placed as long as you have not consented to it through the banner provided for that purpose; your choice is kept for six months and can be changed at any time.

The map on the contact page is provided by Google Maps: it is loaded only when you visit that page and may place its own cookies. The "Buy on Bol" link points to a third party website subject to its own policy.

The map of the points of sale, on the "Where to find us" page and on the product pages, is drawn by a library hosted on this website; its map backgrounds come from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address at the moment the map is displayed. It places no cookies and loads only at your request.

The "Locate me" button on that map asks your browser for your position, and your browser first asks for your agreement. That position is used only to sort the shops by distance within your browser: it is never sent to us and is not kept.

The links to the retailers (Bol.com, Amazon, Acheter Futé, Mr. Bricolage) point to third party websites subject to their own policy.

Advice assistant "Max"

The "Max, from Fulgurant" bubble opens an assistant that answers your questions about our products. Nothing is sent as long as you do not write to it.

• Data processed: the text of your messages, the language and the address of the page you are on. In order to draft the answer, your messages are passed on to the Claude artificial intelligence model, from the company Anthropic, which processes them in the United States on behalf of Chembo Bevil SA and does not use them to train its models.
• Hosting: the assistant service is hosted by Railway, in a data centre located in Amsterdam.
• Retention period: the text of the messages is kept for 90 days, in order to check and improve the answers, then deleted. It is not linked to any name or any address.
• What the assistant remembers: a few preferences useful for giving advice (for example your heating type), attached to a random identifier kept in your browser, for 180 days at most. You can view them and erase everything at any time from the menu of the assistant.

Do not enter personal data (name, address, telephone) in the conversation: the assistant does not need it. Legal basis: your consent, given by writing to the assistant.

Your rights

You have a right of access, a right to rectification, a right to erasure, a right to restriction and a right to object, as well as a right to the portability of your data. To exercise it, write to chembo-bevil@bechems.eu or to the postal address below:
