Over time, sludge, micro-particles, limescale and residue settle in the radiators and heat exchangers. These deposits restrict the flow of water, hinder heat transfer and reduce overall performance.

When and how should you use it?

For your de-sludger to do its job properly, follow this simple and effective method:

The best moment: just before starting up for winter! That way the product works while the circuit is not in use.

Recommended instructions
  1. Switch off the boiler and the circulation pump to isolate the circuit.
  2. Choose the highest radiator in the installation and bleed it partly (about 1 L of water).
  3. Inject the Fulgurant Heating System De-sludger through this bleed point.
  4. Switch the circulation back on
  5. Leave it to work for 48 to 72 hours (depending on how dirty the system is).
  6. Drain the circuit completely.
  7. Rinse until the water runs clear.
  8. Refill with water plus a corrosion inhibitor to stop the deposits coming back.
Guide dosage

A 1 L bottle is enough for a standard installation (boiler plus 8 radiators). Adjust to the size of the circuit and how dirty it is.
